Welcome to another blog post from your community of apartments in the Medical Center! We’ve got some questions for y’all right off the bat.
Do you drink your coffee before you shower? Are you afraid to drive to work until you’ve had your daily dose of caffeine? If you answered yes to either of those questions, this blog is for you.
For many of our residents, coffee is life. Whether you like it black, sweet or cold, coffee is a necessary part of most people’s lives. Why, then, do we accept subpar coffee? You’d think we’d want the best of the best considering we drink the stuff every day. Well, we’ve decided that enough bad coffee is enough.
The staff at Stella at the Medical Center has put together a list of the area’s best coffee shops, and we’re ready to share it with our residents. Check out the list of coffee shops below, and make sure you share this post with your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments near Medical Center.
If you’re one of those people that skips the morning cup of coffee and goes straight to espresso, you’ve got to check out Al Vetro. This place has some of the best espresso in Houston. Unlike most espresso in town, the espresso at Al Vetro isn’t bitter. We recommend the cortado, which has just the right amount of sweetness and foam.
Consistency is the name of the game at Fix Coffee Bar. You can enjoy the same great coffee time and time again, without ever feeling like you’re getting repetitive with your coffee purchases. The coffee is just that good!
We would be remiss if we did not mention two of the super flavorful lattes that you can find at Fix Coffee Bar. We’re talking, of course, about the peach bourbon iced latte and the honey fig iced latte. Not only are these drinks delicious — they’re beautiful too! Fix has comfortable seating and reliable WiFi, so you can get some work done while you sip your fancy coffee!
Black Hole has great coffee, but we’re mostly recommending this place because of wide array of seating options. Seating is a big deal in coffee shops, and Black Hole gets it right. On a nice day, you can sit out on their massive outdoor patio. When the weather turns sour, you can curl up on one of their comfortable couches inside.
This is definitely a hipster coffee shop, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying one of their iced lattes or iced chai tea lattes. Black Hole drinks are sweet, but not overly so.
This is a simple cafe, but sometimes simple is better. If you’re hungry, Fellini Cafe has delicious pastries and light breakfast snacks like ham & egg croissants and strawberry banana smoothies. Their lattes are good too, and they always come with adorable little designs on top that you’ll be tempted to throw on Instagram.
Those are all the coffee shop recommendations we’ve got for you this week, residents! We appreciate you taking the time to read the latest blog post from Stella at the Medical Center.
